A composer, conductor and academic teacher. He was born 17.01.1983 in Gdynia. He graduated from the Gdańsk Academy of Music, specializing in the theory of music (diploma with distinction) in composition (under Andrzej Dziadek, diploma with distinction) and in symphonic-opera conducting (under Wojciech Rajski). As an ERASMUS one year scholarship grantee he studied composition and conducting at the Universitat fur Musik und darstellende Kunst Grazin Austria. Twice he received the sholarship of the city of Gdynia.
Since his studies he has been active as a composer, conductor and musical manager. His multiple compositions have been performed in Poland and abroad. In particular, they has entered the repertoire of the main musical halls and theatres in Pomerania such as the Polish Baltic Philharmony in Gdańsk and Polish Chamber Philharmony in Sopot. Tadeusz Dixa usually conducts his compositions by himself during their performances. Since 2013 he has conducted the Sinfonietta Pomerania focusing on the world premiers of the works of the contemporary Polish composers. Since 2009 he has been an assistant professor at the Department of Composition at the Faculty of Conducting, Composition and the Theory of Music at the Gdańsk Academy of Music
